Outside food policy
Outside food and outside catering aren't permitted for private events. Celebrating with a cake? Desserts such as birthday cakes are typically allowed, approved case by case. Just mention it when you book.
Space is limited, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. Requests aren't confirmed until you hear back from our team.

Can we bring our own food or use an outside caterer?
Outside food and outside catering aren't permitted for private events. Desserts such as birthday cakes are typically allowed with approval on a case-by-case basis, so let us know when you book.
How many guests does the Community Room hold?
Our Community Room accommodates approximately 35–40 guests.
How much does it cost to book the Community Room?
The room fee is $160, with a $400 food and beverage minimum and an 18% gratuity. We waive the room fee for nonprofit organizations.
Can our guests order from the regular menu?
For events Sunday through Friday morning, guests may be able to order individually from our regular menu, depending on group size and our ability to accommodate individual orders. Groups larger than 25 typically select from the catering menu for buffet-style service, and buffet-style catering is required for events on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Do you deliver catering?
Yes. Our team delivers your order and sets up the food at your event. A 10% service charge applies, plus a delivery fee based on distance.
Can I pick up a catering order?
Yes. Catering orders can be placed for pickup at either Nexus location: Nexus Brewery & Restaurant on Pan American Fwy or Nexus Blue Smokehouse on Broadway.
How much food should I order?
A half pan of appetizers serves 10–15 guests and a full pan serves 20–30. A half pan of bone-in fried chicken is 15 pieces (30 pieces for tenders or wings), and a half pan of catfish is 10 filets.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Gluten-free items are available, but our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment.
